One Sample t Test

The one sample t test compares the mean of your sample data to a known value. For example, you might want to know how your sample compares to the population mean. You should run a sample t test when you do not know the population standard deviation or you have a small sample size.

Step 1

·         Open analyze> Compare means> one-sample t -test




Step 2:

Enter the total scores or the scale (variables) and then add the total value for the score. The value with which the variable’s value is compared.




Step 3: Then the last step click on the OK button.
