Description

The term "chi-squared test," also written as x2 test, refers to certain types of statistical hypothesis tests that are valid to perform when the test statistic is chi-squared distributed under the null hypothesis.


Step 1

·         Analyze> descriptive statistics> crosstabs..




Step 2

·        Shit the independent variable from left box to the rows on the right box. And dependent variable from left box to the columns on right box.





Step 3

·         Click on the statistics

·         Then select the chi-square, phi and Cramer’s V

·         Then click on continue





Step 4

·         Click on the Cells then select rows, columns and total.

·         Then click continue




Step 5:

·         Then click on OK
